Who we are

FemmConnect ("we", "us") is a women-only patient platform connecting Indian users with Registered Medical Practitioners for teleconsultation, women's health tracking, and related services. For the purpose of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), FemmConnect is a Data Fiduciary.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, phone, gender.
• Clinical: symptoms, cycle logs, consultation notes, prescriptions.
• Payment metadata: Razorpay order/payment IDs (we do not store card data).
• We collect the minimum information needed to provide care.

How we use your data

• To provide medical consultations and follow-up care.
• To let you track your cycle and health.
• Only with your separate consent: anonymised analytics; product messages.
• We never sell your data or share health information with advertisers.

Who can see your records

• You — always.
• Doctors — only for patients they consult; they cannot bulk-export records.
• Support staff — only booking metadata (no clinical notes).
• Admins — for verification and safety; every access is logged.

Your rights under DPDP

• Access, correct, or download a copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time (Profile → Privacy & Consents).
• Delete your account. Medical records legally required to be retained are anonymised where possible and kept for the minimum period.
• Contact our Grievance Officer to raise concerns.

Retention

Appointment and clinical records are retained for approximately 3 years, in line with Indian medical record norms. Audit logs are retained for 1 year. Cycle logs are kept until you delete them.
